Like small presses of yore, we subsidize our publishing activities by using our facilities and skills to provide services to the community.
Container Corps is a collective of designers and artists that are available to help you with your project, big or small. Our primary background is in book and publication design, but we've also tackled identities, illustration, art direction, product development, packaging, and marketing. We like working with fellow small businesses who share our dedication to the well being of our community. And you can think of us as a "design-build" studio, able to both design and produce all types of collateral, stationary, packaging, and publications.
Our print shop is capable of providing high quality offset printing at sheet sizes up to 12 by 18 inches. And our binding capabilities run the gamut from quick and cheap (the underrated staple) to slow and fancy (the venerable and unfaltering hand-sewn, hardback volume). Some things this covers: your rad new zine, a portfolio for the big job interview, menus for your food cart, posters for the show, invitations for the Big Day, business cards for your new startup, paper dolls, coloring books, wrapping paper, bookmarks, calendars, and on and on and on. Surprise us. And though we wish this could go without saying, we use recycled papers and ecologically sound printing processes, and strive to produce minimal waste in our print production.
